Hey again,
Does anyone have trouble with the spark plug coming loose in normal riding? My cylinder head cover seems to have a small oil seep right near the plug hole area, and at the end of every riding season the plug isn't tight and takes very little socket effort to unscrew it, even when installed at the 13 ft-lbs recommended by NGK. Oil from the seep seems to pool up a little around the base of the plug and I think it gets into the threads and lets the plug work itself "loose" over time.
Aside from removing and redoing the cylinder head cover gasket goo, is there anything I can use on its threads to help keep the plug tight? I thought about Loctite 1342 but I'm told it doesn't work well in hi temps.
Thanks!
Tim
